Heard Saturdays at 5pm on Classical WMHT-FM, From the Top has grown from a variety radio show to a multi-media and arts education powerhouse, transforming the lives of hundreds of young musicians each year. The premiere performance of the 2017 National Youth Orchestra of the United States is the centerpiece of a live taping of From the Top, Wednesday, July 19 at 7:30pm at the Purchase College Performing Arts Center. We spoke with Christopher O’Riley, the host of From the Top, and the arranger of this wonderful new work, “This Land/Our Land.”
