Pulling sounds from thin air—Leon Theramin’s 1919 invention has been inspiring musicians for a century now. Dalit Warshaw’s Concerto for Theramin and Orchestra, called “Sirens,” is featured on the next Albany Symphony concert with Theramin virtuoso Carolina Eyck performing.
