MEET YOUR HOST: JADE WARRICK

Originally from Los Angeles, Warrick is a Capital Region-based visual designer who focuses on bringing art and wellness programming into BIPOC and marginalized communities. 

Warrick uses her art to explore ways to connect community voices and stories to build visual representation for all to witness. Warrick's goal is to build community equity and raise awareness through art education, with a hard focus on learner-centered design and accessibility. She hopes to spur change and facilitate conversations around healing within the arts.

Currently, Warrick runs an art and wellness program called Amplified Voices, with a goal to amplify the voices of marginalized youth through art programming. Warrick has experience as a muralist and painter, multimedia producer, graphic designer, curriculum developer, illustrator, and program developer.  

Warrick’s work is highlighted in Troy’s Uniting Line project through the murals she designed that are now painted on the pillars of the Hoosick Street Bridge. This project is a focal point of WMHT’s documentary that came out in February 2022,  “Bridging the Divide.”
