Renowned Irish folksinger Tommy Makem welcomes some of his favorite "auld acquaintances" for a concert of holiday folk music in A Christmas Tradition with Tommy Makem.

Before an enthusiastic studio audience, Makem and his guests Schooner Fare and Cathie Ryan (formerly of Cherish the Ladies) entertain with traditional and original folk carols, poetry, and stories that evoke the mood of Christmases past.

From the opening Christmas poem, "Singing in the Streets," performed over the familiar hymm, "O Come, All Ye Faithful," the mood is set for an unforgettable evening of folk music, festivity and fellowship.
