He is a member of New York Oncology Hematology. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Flit McElligott Flit was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in December of 1996. Since then she's been in and out of remission twice and in January of 2005 she was diagnosed with lobular breast cancer. Flit is an ovarian cancer activist and participates in Caring Together, an ovarian cancer support group through the Northeastern New York Ovarian Cancer Support Network. Diana Burns Diana, like so many women who've been affected, had no symptoms. A pap test in July of 2003 came back with atypical cells. She was diagnosed with stage 3-c ovarian cancer that involved her liver, she was just 46. Diana is working to raise awareness of ovarian cancer through Caring Together, Northeastern New York Ovarian Cancer Support Network. Web Resources
The Northeastern New York Ovarian Cancer Support Network connects five ovarian
cancer support programs from Westchester County, the Hudson Valley, the Capital
District, Glens Falls, and Binghamton, covering a total of 18 counties - all
with the common goal of fighting ovarian cancer. The Network is currently
coordinating numerous educational events about Ovarian Cancer Awareness around
New York State.
