TOPIC: Lupus and Fibromyalgia

Lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease, causes the immune system to attack the body's own tissue and organs. For most people, lupus is a mild disease affecting only a few organs. For others, it may cause serious and even life-threatening problems.  Fibromyalgia is a complex, chronic condition that causes widespread pain and fatigue. Over 6 million Americans, 90% of them women in the prime of their life, suffer from FMS and sometimes struggle for years before being correctly diagnosed.
