WMHT is proud to bring you the worlds first classical music podcast
to offer full-length musical pieces.
Bachs Lunch features music from the Baroque era, but dabbles in Early Music as well.
Bachs Lunch is a daily exploration into the music and lives of great composers.
While it is named for Johann Sebastian Bach, Bachs Lunch
features more than music by J.S. Bach and his sons. You will hear
relative unknowns, like Sweelinck and Zalenka, as well as more
familiar composers such as Biber, Teleman, Vivaldi, Byrd and Praetorius.
Bachs Lunch was designed to be an enjoyable program for
midday listening and is produced by WMHTs Chris Wienk.
The
Bachs Lunch programs we podcast have been created especially for
on-line delivery. They will not be broadcast on WMHT-FM or WBKK-FM.
